TLS 2ND GRADE NEWSLETTER
· APRIL/MAY 2008·
Dear Parents,

I cannot believe I am writing the last newsletter for the year.  It seems like yesterday that we started the new school year.

I am so grateful to God to have had the opportunity to meet all of you and to teach your children.  Thank you for all of your help and support.  Thank you to the volunteers who were able to come in to help in the classroom (Mrs.Bailey, Ms Schultz, Mrs. Collins, Mr. Day, Mr. Einsig, Mrs. Goetz, Mrs. McGinn, Mrs. Neu, Mrs. Peery, Mrs. Ruehl, Mrs. Stamas, Mrs. Steeley, Mrs. Stella, and Mrs. Trees).  Thank you also to our Story Time readers (Mr. Collins, Mrs. Goetz, Mrs. Henderson, Mrs. McGinn, Mrs. Sollod, Mrs. Stamas and Mrs. Ruehl).

Keep your children reading, practicing the addition and subtraction facts, telling time and counting money during the summer break. Make it fun!  Have a wonderful summer!  I will miss you all so very much!

POEM:  MOTHER’S LOVE
You can’t define a mother’s love:
It’s faith and hope and power.
It’s wisdom and unselfishness,
Protection hour by hour.

You can’t define a mother’s love:
It’s prayers, true and sincere,
It’s tenderness and sympathy,
A smile, a dream, a tear.

You can’t define a mother’s love:
It’s faith that never grows dim.
And through a mother’s love is found
The path that leads to Him.
