Learning to use the cameras...

Here are some pictures of the two cameras we will be using. You must show that you understand how to use them before you will be allowed to go out and film!

camera 1:

The Power button is pushed in and turned to the "on" position to tape. The green light must be next to the word "tape" in the mode indicator. To view, forward, or rewind tape, push down on the power button until the mode indicator reads "play/edit." Don't forget to put it back on "tape" to start filming again!

The touch-screen (both cameras):

Simply push play, rewind, or fast forward right on the screen.

Camera 2, which is slightly different from camera 1:

Same buttons, different locations.

You will also learn how to use the tripod today. Please use the tripod whenever possible, or steady yourself to avoid camera shake. For more info on this subject, check out these links:
