Before and Aftercare Teacher - 30 hrs/wk
Responsibilities:
- To provide supervision of childcare and engaging activities for school age children at Trinity Lutheran Christian School before and after school.
- To give active and loyal support to the Before and Aftercare program
Requirements:
- 90 hour school aged certification
- ADA certification
- 9 hours communication
- Candidate must be at least 19 years of age
Qualifications:
- Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Record Check
- Aptitude for working with Children
- Strong leadership skills
- Courses in education or Early Childhood Education
- First aid and CPR

- 18 years or older
- Must complete a background check, including fingerprints and physical
- Able to fill in on a daily basis to cover for a teacher who is out
- Ideal position for retired teachers or those with child care experience

Responsibilities:
- Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
- Greet family members with a professional and friendly image.
- Maintain a teamwork environment.
Qualifications:
- At least one year experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- 90 hour Certificate
- ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act Certificate)
- Basic Health & Safety Certificate
- 9 hour Communication Certificate
- CPR and First Aid
